ENLIGHT Consortium Meeting Basel, November 27th, 2024
On Monday, November 27th, the EU-funded ENLIGHT consortium convened at ETH Zürich in Basel 🇨🇭 a consortium meeting. With three years of dedicated work behind them and only a few months remaining, the project is nearing its conclusion.
ENLIGHT is on a mission to revolutionize healthcare by integrating 3D printing, photonics, and synthetic biology to develop a bioprinted pancreas 🧬. This innovative technology has the potential to transform the testing and development of new diabetes therapies, marking a major breakthrough in the field of diabetes research 🩺.
During the meeting, the consortium reflected on key achievements and set the course for the final phase of the project. The last consortium meeting will take place in April 2025 at UMC Utrecht, where the final steps toward project completion will be outlined.
